Swimming Pool and Outdoor Environment
Ekistics Design Studio was retained to design a swimming pool environment themed on a tropical jungle river and cascading waterfalls. The pool includes a swim up bar, lazy river, tube slide, rope bridge, walk-thru and swim-thru caves, a cascading hot spring spa and beach/sunshelf entry. An elevated smaller pool creates a vanishing edge effect from adjacent windows. Embracing the pool is a series of terraces and outdoor people spaces, including an outdoor fireplace, thatched hut bar and Caribbean style cafe. Ekistics was responsible for both the conceptual plans as well as detailed construction plans of retaining walls, bridges, stairs, slide and poolside terraces.
